I've seen such varied reviews of this place that prior to our trip I really didn't know what to expect. The food was good and the staff was great! Highly recommend going to Johnny Rockets for the meals. I'm not sure I would pay "peak" prices to go back - but it was well worth our while this trip. I would definitely return again, especially if I could get a good rate via Groupon. I don't need them to be friendly and playful - I want them to be competent and watching what is going on. The lines for the big waterslides were a bit long and they could have managed the "boarding" a bit better, but we were there mid-week and it wasn't that crowded, so I understand the need to control staffing. The family waterside was a HUGE hit and a great way to get smaller kids to test-drive a waterslide. The waterpark was fun and we liked the multi-leveled layout, although it was a little bit of a challenge for the grandparents who wanted to "watch the kids play" while they were lounging in chairs. The one thing I found it oddly lacking was a full-length mirror. ![]() Our room on the first floor was clean and inviting and warm, which was important as we would be needing to don bathing suits soon.
